Our company name is 'Plaid' to pay homage to the old school Bob Vila types and their stereotypical attire.

These types convey a sense of reliability and professionalism which is hard to come by within the current handyman industry.

We prefer to offer flat rates for many tasks. This puts the onus of efficiency on our shoulders so you can relax knowing we are working diligently on your project.

Many quotes can be completed over the phone or via text at no cost. Please find our contact information in the footer or on the 'Contact' page.

Jobs which can't be quoted as a flat rate can be completed on an hourly agreement. This includes a trip fee for the first 1-hour minimum, and then an hourly rate rounded up to the nearest 15 minute increment afterwards.

On larger jobs, we will schedule a no cost in-person review prior to providing a quote. Note that a quote is not an estimate. The quoted price is what you will pay unless the scope is updated and a Change Request is signed by both parties.

Payment is typically due upon job completion and we accept a variety of payment methods to accommodate your needs.
